Meet the Team
Lucia is an ambitious and passionate individual, who loves new adventures! After her 15+ years career in the insurance industry, she decided it was time for an exciting change. Her heart led her to the event and meeting planning field where she has been actively involved. She completed her Event and Meeting Management education at GBC and currently works as an Event Operations Manager at the SJCC Event Venue. Lucia is a proud member of MPI, where she was a part of the leadership team. She collaborated on planning and executing of conferences, galas, fundraising events, festivals, and volunteer coordination. Lucia constantly searches for ways of personal and professional development and new opportunities that will help to leave a positive mark in the industry.
Originally hailing from Nova Scotia, Nathan has been living and working in Toronto for nearly 20 years, the last 12 of which have been spent working in the events industry.
Nathan has worked on both sides of the industry, starting out working on the front line as an Event Supervisor for a busy downtown Toronto staffing agency before moving into his position as Site Event Coordinator at SJCC Event Venue.
As Site Event Coordinator, Nathan has taken his many years of experience in the industry and applied it to the creation and execution of events taking place at SJCC Event Venue.
